Q: Hi Jojo! Can you introduce yourself?
Jojo: Hello! I'm Jolene, but everyone calls me Jojo. I’ve been an oncology nurse for nine years now. My first love was working in the emergency room, but oncology is where I found my purpose.
Q: How did you first discover Inkkas?
Jojo: I saw an ad for the Yuuki Joggers on my IG page. They caught my eye immediately. I tried scrolling past, saying, “Jojo, keep scrolling, DO NOT stop on this page.” But after a couple of weeks, I caved — and instantly fell in love.
Q: How long have you been wearing Inkkas? What made you switch?
Jojo: I’ve been wearing my Inkkas to work for over three years. Before that, I wore Dansko clogs for over 20 years. When my Yuuki Joggers arrived, I told myself, “I’ll just wear you a couple of times to break you in.” Now, three years later, I wear them every day. I’m currently in my OG Andes Joggers.
Q: What do you love most about your Inkkas for long shifts?
Jojo: I’m on my feet 9–10 hours a day, and my joggers feel like a cozy, warm hug. They mold to your feet the more you wear them. And the designs are absolutely striking.
Since my Inkkas journey began, I’ve met and bonded with so many people because of this brand. The joggers spark conversation, help break awkward small talk, and honestly bring people together. They’re definitely a talking piece.

Q: What’s your favorite Inkkas style or design?
Jojo: My absolute favorite is the Jogger Collection.
And my favorite design ever was the Namibia Joggers from the Kindred Spirits Collection. They’re discontinued now, so mine only come out for special occasions — I’m trying to preserve them! The vibrant colors and artistry are unmatched. Two of my nurse co-workers bought that style and adore them. One even asked me to beg for this design to come back. If they returned, we’d all buy multiple pairs.
Q: Have others at your hospital discovered Inkkas through you?
Jojo: Oh yes — the influencing began the first time I wore my Yuuki Joggers to work. The number of questions and compliments was astounding. I started pulling up the website and telling everyone about the brand. Several patients bought joggers and would wear them to their infusions. And now about 11–12 nurses in my department wear Inkkas too!
Q: You’ve also partnered with Inkkas during Nurses Week. What has that experience been like?
Jojo: I reached out to Inkkas about donating to our Nurses Week celebration, and they were so welcoming. I’ve worked with the brand for three years now! They donate gift cards for our raffles and gift me a pair of joggers for the display. My contact even prints brochures for our celebration and sends coupons for the staff. It means so much to have a brand that supports nurses the way they do.
Q: Any final thoughts on what Inkkas means to you?
Jojo: Inkkas gives people a sense of individuality. Wearing navy blue scrubs can be quite dull. But our feet? They’re anything but boring.
